Reaching out to our Community...

Get involved in the Lord's work!

On the second Saturday morning of each month, church members prepare meals for Operation Hope's community kitchen. We typically cook for roughly 30-40 people using our ample commercial-style kitchen. The meals are then delivered to the shelter. Our church also provides financial support for their food pantry, affordable housing, and shelter programs.

Roosevelt School Mobile Food Pantry

Volunteers serve monthly on the second Wednesday afternoon at the Roosevelt School in Bridgeport distributing groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables and other necessary items to those in need.
BRM demonstrates the love of God to the hungry, homeless, and addicted throughout Coastal Fairfield County, providing services and a place of hope and dignity for men, women, and children. We also collect clothing and non-perishable foods for BRM, and we support their fundraising efforts.
Members of our congregation play an active role with Habitat for Humanity Coastal Fairfield County, which has built over 200 homes in Fairfield County since 1985. Volunteers can help with home construction, office work, or their ReStore retail shop.
Founded in 1896 in New Mexico by Presbyterian minister Rev. James Menaul, this independent school remains related to the Presbyterian Church. It accepts students from all cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds; half the students receive need-based financial assistance.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

Jesus said that he came not to be served but to serve. We believe that serving others is one of the best ways to show Christ's love.  When we choose to serve we find that we are often blessed. Everyone has something to give. Join us as we show Christ's love by serving both inside the church and beyond our walls.

Food Pantry

Participate in seasonal food drives for Operation Hope of Fairfield and Bridgeport Rescue Mission.

Sewing Minstry

The church Sew-ers Group meets on Thursday mornings from 10:00 -noon. The ladies craft layettes, onesies, receiving blankets, and hats.

Prayer Team

Members of our prayer team are available after both worship services for your confidential prayer needs. No prayer request is too large or too small.
