Visitor Information

Welcome to the worship and ministry of the First Presbyterian Church, Fairfield, CT! There are no strangers in Jesus Christ. At First Presbyterian Church we want you to know our doors are always open to you. We pray that you will find our time together this morning an enriching and meaningful experience. Please join us for Coffee Hour in Brooks Hall after the service.

To help us get to know you, please fill out the blue Fellowship Pad, pass it to your neighbor and return it to the center aisle.

Communion Sundays are the first Sunday of each month. All baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are welcome to partake of the sacrament.

Programs for children on Sunday mornings: All children will be invited to go to their classes. Guests and visitors are welcome. Parents are asked to pick up their children from the classrooms at 11:15 a.m. after the service.

Little Explorers is a program for infants through children age 2. The Nursery room is open from 9:45 a.m. through 11:15 a.m. and located on the first floor of the Christian Education (CED) wing.

Explorers is for 3 to 4 year old children and is a place where children first learn about the love of God, how God made them and that Jesus wants to be their friend. This program is located in the yellow room in the Christian Education wing.

J.A.M. Session is for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. It stands for “Jesus and Me.” Children will continue worship upstairs in the classrooms on the second floor of the Christian Education wing.

During the Worship service, resources for children (booklets, crayons, etc.) are available in both the Narthex and outside the right-hand door at the front of the sanctuary. Please return the bags as you leave the sanctuary following worship.

The Reading Room is a quiet place where you can find, browse through, and check out faith-based books and movies for all ages. And for the convenience and support of our families with young children, the Reading Room is a perfect place for toddlers to enjoy a quiet activity, such as a book or puzzle, while their parent listens to the service via speaker.

Headphones:
Having trouble hearing the service? We have headphones for your use. Please see an usher who will set them up for you.

Rev. Duffy’s sermons are available online here on our website.

Accessible seating for the physically challenged is available in the front and rear of the sanctuary.
